Car Parking

Public Car Parking in and near Billericay town centre is complicated. Several different organisations operate car parks, with attempts to balance the needs of regular users needing long stay parking with casual users needing to park for a short time. In addition to the car parks there are some designated short stay on-street parking areas.

Short stay – not more than 2 hours

On street, e.g. High Street, Chantry Way: 1 hour maximum, no return within 3 hours. Administered by South Essex Parking Partnership
Waitrose Car Park

Medium stay – not more than 4 hours

High Street Car Park. Administered by Basildon Borough Council
Wetherspoons Car Park (3 hours maximum) Administered by Euro Car Parks

Long Stay – over 4 hours

High Street Car Park – season ticket holders only. Administered by Basildon Borough Council
Radford Crescent Car Park – season ticket holders before 9.15am, casual users after that. Administered by Basildon Borough Council
Railway Station Car Park – season tickets available, sliding scale of charges for casual users based on day & time of parking. Administered by National Car Parks
Lake Meadows Car Park – restricted availability. Administered by Basildon Borough Council
