Christmas Lights Switch On

On Saturday the Town Council held its Christmas lights switch on event on Sun Corner. The crowds were entertained by High Voltage Big Band, choirs from Woodlands school and Mayflower school along with performances from Dance Steps Academy and Helen Arber Performing Arts.

This year the lights were switched on by Father Christmas and the Town Crier.

Cllr Jim Devlin, Chairman of the Town Council thanked everyone who took part in the celebrations and expressed gratitude to all the service organisations and volunteers that helped make the event run smoothly especially Billericay Lions, 2393 (Billericay) Squadron Air Cadets and the Billericay Town Rotary Club.

The Town Council would also like to thank all those residents that came out to support this community event and watch the fantastic performances from our local schools and groups.
