Farewell Service for Revd Paul Carr

On Sunday 26 November there was a farewell service for Revd Paul Carr at Emmanuel Church who after 15+ years as Team Rector at Billericay & Little Burstead Team Ministry is leaving to take up the role of Parish Priest of Paphos. Our Chairman, Cllr Mark Thomas, attended along with the Town Clerk and Committee Clerk and three other Town Councillors. The whole service was a fitting tribute to such a community champion and Cllr Thomas thanked Paul on behalf of the Town Council for all his service. We wish Paul and his family every success in the future, they will be greatly missed by many people and the community organisations in Billericay.
