Love Essex - Plastic Pledge

Billericay Town Council have signed up to the Love Essex Plastic Pledge which is part of the Love Essex campaign that aims to promote public awareness and action on resource usage, waste minimisation and recycling. Residents, schools and organisations in Essex can sign the plastic pledge and are then provided with a pack of ideas to help reduce plastic waste.

 The Town Council will look at the ideas in the pack and try to implement some of the suggestions. Action that the Council has already taken includes no longer using disposable drinking cups at events, using reusable cups in the office and ordering recycled A4 paper for use in the office.
