BEST CORONATION STREET PARTY WINNERS:

The Town Council are pleased to announce that the prize for best Coronation Street Party goes to "UPLAND ROAD".
The party was organised by Kelly Jarvis, Jenny Smith, Rachel Manley and Claire Worden who decorated the street and encouraged neighbours to decorate their homes.

It was a fantastic community event, with 50 households coming together and some of the attendees contacted the Town Council to say how much they had enjoyed the day.

"Great day and how better to celebrate than with amazing friends and neighbours. So well organised and fantastic to see everyone enjoying themselves and having fun especially all the children."
"It was a fabulous day on a very long road- lots of fun , face painting, bingo, quiz, mini olympics, magic and party games. Most of all getting to know our neighbours"
Kelly, Jenny, Rachel and Claire are all parents of Brightside and are active members of the school PTA. They have asked for their £100 prize to be donated to Brightside School.
